• <br />• <br />City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 2540 <br />8. Water line from pressure tank covered with heat tape. Water line <br />is unheated. No water available in the winter. <br />9. Exterior stairway - boards missing. Stairs unsafe to main house. <br />10. Furnace type - warm morning, gravity type. Improper clearances <br />for vent, no controls. No heat in rooms. No heat in basement. <br />11. Plumbing is unvented in bathroom. Fixtures leaking on floors <br />creating water damage. <br />12. Rooms sizes are too small. <br />13. Front porch area added on without permit. Make -shift, <br />structurally unsound, rafters are 2x4 over -spanned. <br />14. Front doorway entrance room finish covering is cardboard, <br />improperly insulated. <br />15. Front step made of 2x4 and plywood platform type, no support, <br />structurally unsafe. <br />16. Roofing - needs new roof because it leaks into electrical light <br />fixtures causing shorting problems, improper atic ventilation. <br />17. Shed is in a hazardous condition. Roof is bad, wood to earth <br />separation, improper roof sheating rotted off, walls in deteriorated <br />state - rotting. <br />18. Fill has been brought onto the site without proper permits or <br />authorization. <br />19. Junk cars stored by pole barn. Junk and debris is scattered <br />throughout the lot. <br />20. Smoke detector was provided by renter after told by Inspector to <br />install for safety reasons. <br />21. Living room floor slopes to the north, probably a 3-4" drop; drop <br />on south side is about 2". <br />22. Exterior of the house is in a very poor and deteriorating <br />condition. Wiring has been known to short circut due to water damage <br />from roof leaking. <br />Page 2 of 7 <br />
