P52-471-1287 <br /> Dear Scott, <br /> As per your request we have completed the attached S pages of details and stnictural calculation <br /> to detennine the adequacy of existing footing load bearing capacity. <br /> On Thur. Feb 3, we visited the house together with you and found no obvious soil settlement and <br /> large cracks on walls and slab on grade. It is our best engineering Judgment that the existing <br /> 8"x16" and S",c20"continuous footings can support the proposed second floor addition as shown <br /> on your drawings dated Jan 19, 2005. <br /> Page 1 af our report shows the inaximum soil bearing of 1,720 psf on 8"xl6"footing along line <br /> B. We consider this bearing amount relatively lo�v and requires no actual soil boring <br /> investigation at this time.
