The floor, walls, ceiling, windows, and door are all in bad <br />condition. <br />2. The bathroom plumbing for the sink, faucet, trap, vent, <br />tub/shower, vent, toilet, anti -siphon ballcock, float assembly, <br />seat, and shut off valve are all bad. <br />Bedroom Northeast Side of House <br />1. Floor is buckling. <br />2. Walls and ceiling have moisture damage. Paint is pealing off of <br />walls. <br />3. Windows have dry rot. They do not meet fire egress. <br />4. Receptacles are improper spacing and have poor wiring. <br />Attic <br />1. Rafters are 2x4 and are an improper size. <br />2. There is very little insulation, if any. <br />�'vi-cri nr <br />1. Foundation is caved in. <br />2. Ground slope at foundation to building. <br />3. Siding is weathered. <br />4. There is no wall insulation. <br />5. Roof design: rafters are undersized (2x4). <br />6. Roofing is weathered and leaking. <br />7. The motar joints are falling apart on the chimney. <br />8. Entry steps do not have a handrail provided. <br />Building is in a state of deterioration and dilapidation, thus it <br />is a safety and health hazard pursuant to Minnesota State Building <br />Code/Uniform Building Code, Section 203. <br />Orders to remove or repair the structure were issued by the <br />Building Official on September 3, 1988 and September 21, 1988. These orders <br />have not been complied with. <br />NOW, TBXREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: <br />A) That the City Council of the City of Orono, pursuant to State <br />Statute 463.251, hereby orders the owner(s) to board -up and secure the <br />structure within ten (10) days. The City Council further orders that <br />unless corrective action is taken within ten (10 ) days from the date <br />of service of this order, it will result in the City properly securing <br />the building and the cost thereof will be charged against the real <br />estate as provided in State Statute Section 463.21. <br />Page 3 of 6 <br />
