1 <br /> MINUTES OF THE <br /> ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> Monday,September 19,2005 <br /> 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS <br /> 13. REPORT OF PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDING <br /> COUNCIL MEETINGS AUGUST 22 AND SEPTEMBER 12,2005. <br /> Leslie stated he attended the August 22nd Council meeting and that a number of the applications were <br /> placed on the Consent Agenda. <br /> Rahn stated he did attend the September 12, 2005 Council meeting,noting that there were only three <br /> applications on the agenda that night. Rahn indicated the appeal regarding gate height was tabled was <br /> tabled to allow for further discussion by the Council. <br /> Gaffron stated the Council would be discussing at their next work session whether it is appropriate to <br /> have gates that are higher than the fence. <br /> Gundlach stated the City now has an entrance monument ordinance and that the gate issue may come <br /> before the Planning Commission as an amendment ordinance in the near future. <br /> 14. OTHER ISSUES FOR DISCUSSION <br /> None <br /> 15. PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR AUGUST 15,2005 <br /> Bremer moved,Rahn seconded,to approve the minutes of the August 15,2005 Planning <br /> Commission meeting as submitted. VOTE: Ayes 7,Nays 0. <br /> 16.
