Subdivision 6 (B) to permit the <br /> construction of a sunroom addition to the existing residence, to be located <br /> ' 19' from the street lot line where a 50' street yard setback is normally <br /> required, and a variance to Section 10 . 22 , Subdivision 2 to allow <br /> additional structural hardcover on the property where a significant portion <br /> of existing hardcover is in the 0-75' lakeshore setback zone where no <br /> • hardcover is normally allowed. <br /> NOW, THERSFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> � Minnesota: <br /> gINDINGS <br /> - 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1314. - <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-lA Single Family Lakeshore <br /> Residential Zoning District. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on August <br /> 15, 1988 and recommended approval of the proposed variance based upon <br /> the following findings: <br /> A) The proposed sunroom will extend no closer to the street than <br /> the wing walls and roof line of the existing house, but will <br /> merely fill in an existing indentation in the house. <br /> B) The area where the sunroom will be constructed is all <br /> hardcovered by decorative rock bed with plastic sheeting <br /> underneath. <br /> C) The proposed sunroom addition will not have any significant <br /> • effect on the character of the neighborhood nor will it encroach <br /> upon any neighboring views of the lake. <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br />
