<br /> From the digital U.S. Department of Agriculture Soil Survey for Hennepin County, the soils
<br /> mapped within the area of Wetland A is described as Hamel-Glencoe, depressional complex, 0-
<br /> 3% slopes which is a hydric soil. Soils data collected at the wetland sample plot for Wetland A
<br /> consisted of lOYR 2/l silty clay loam from 0-18" and lOYR 4/2 silty clay loam with 2.SYR 4/6
<br /> redox concentrations in the matrix from 19-24". Soils encountered in the upland sample plot for
<br /> of Wetland A consists of 1 OYR 2/1 silt loam from 0-32"and 1 OYR 4/3 clay loam with some gravel
<br /> from 33-36".
<br /> Wetland hydrology indicators that were determined for Wetland A include one primary and two
<br /> secondary indicators: saturation (A3), geomorphic position (D2) and FAC-neutral test(DS). Soils
<br /> were saturated at a depth of 12" and water in the pit was at a depth of 17' from the soil surface.
<br /> Wetland B
<br /> Wetland B is located in the southern part of the property where it continues off-site to the east and
<br /> west. This wetland is within a low depressional area with a culvert at its southern end where water
<br /> flows off-site to the south under the Luce Line trail into another wetland. Wetland B is dominated
