• MINUTES OF THE ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />HELD JUNE 15, 1992 <br />( #5) #1741 RODNEY J. AND SHANON K. BATZLAFF, <br />1115 BROWN ROAD SOUTH - <br />VARIANCE - PUBLIC HEARING 7:30 - 7:32 P.M. <br />The Affidavit of Publication and Certificate of Mailing were noted. <br />Mr. and Mrs. Batzlaff were present. <br />Mabusth explained that the applicants seek approval of a variance <br />to allow a detached structure to be placed in front of the front <br />line of the principal structure, and a variances to the side <br />and street setback standards. <br />Chair Kelley asked about the shed in the rear which is over the <br />property line. <br />Mabusth stated that the lot does not have a coverage problem. <br />Mr. Batzlaff said that the shed would have to be jacked up and put <br />on skids to move. <br />Bellows said she did not have a problem with the shed if it were <br />• to be moved onto the property. <br />It was moved by Bellows, seconded by Chair Kelley, to recommend <br />approval of Application #1741 for Rodney and Shanon Batzlaff of <br />1115 Brown Road South, for a variance to construct a detached <br />garage, subject to shed being relocated within the property <br />boundaries.
