SIDEWALL ASSEMBLY AND POSITIONING <br /> • Before standing walls, nail siding panels to pre-framed side walls <br /> using 6d nails spaced 8-12 inches apart on edges, and 16 inches apart <br /> on the interior studs. Align top of panels with top of lx4 on wall <br /> framing! This will leave an overlap on the bottom of the wall to <br /> completely cover the floor plywood edge. (see fig. 2-1) Note that the wall <br /> end panels have been cut off on one long edge, while the edges that <br /> make up the interior wall seams, for any length building, are grooved to <br /> provide an overlapped joint.
