WIlVDOWS <br /> • Choose height for �,vindow by installing top and bottom 2x4 members. <br /> Measure down from top of wall and use window to mark bottom frame <br /> 1/4n to 1 /2" bigger than window. Mark siding to be cut by drilling holes, <br /> or pounding nails from the inside corners of window frame through the <br /> siding. Install window stops (lx3 pieces), flat against framing members <br /> and flush with outside of siding. Do top and bottom first. Next, install <br /> outside trim (lx4 pieces). Do the sides first, then top and bottom. Tip: <br /> Ieaue a little bit of reveal on the window stop edges to get a better look. <br /> Install hardware and hang. <br /> 14. CAULK ALL SEAMS <br /> • Caulk all seams and trim, especially horizontal seams above door <br /> and horizontal trim on doors. Tip: this will enable the doors to last <br /> longer. <br /> 15.
