FASCIA INSTALLATION <br /> ', • Install the long pieces of lx6 fascia (the vertical board that goes on <br /> ' the end of the rafters), so that the lx6 extends 9 3/4" past the last <br /> rafter. The top of the lx6 should be placed so that when the roof <br /> plywood goes on top of the rafter it will rest nicely on the top of the 1x6. <br /> • Install the soffit blocks. These blocks should be installed flush with the <br /> top of the rafters. Four pieces are longer, and should be nailed at the <br /> bottom of the gable rafters. The others should be spaced evenly between <br /> the ridge and the fascia.
