(hereinafter "Owners") are the owners of the property located at 25 Cygnet Place <br /> within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally described as: Lot 1 Block 1 Swan <br /> Lake Addition Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the Property"); and <br /> ��VHEREAS, Sean and Marie MeLean have made application to the City for a <br /> variance to Orono Code Section 78-420 for a setback variance to construct an open entry <br /> porch with a 36 foot setback from Cygnet Place when a 40 foot setback exists and a �0 foot <br /> setback is required as we11 as approval to change the roof line over the existin� entry porch <br /> and portion of the Qara�e within the �0 foot setbacks from Cygnet Place and Watertown <br /> Road: and y <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the Orono, Minnesota, Citv Code, the Orono Plannin� Commission <br /> held a public he�arin� on January 19, 2010, at which tiines all persons desiring to be heard <br /> concernin�this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File �10-3439. <br /> 2. The Property is located in the RR-1 B zoning district, where 2 acres is the <br /> muiimum 1ot area and 200 feet is the minimum lot width. The Property is <br /> approximately 0.81 acre in area and 1�� feet in width. <br /> 3. The Plannin� Commission reviewed this application on January 19. 2010 and <br /> on a vote of 6 - 0 recommended approval of the request, based on the <br /> followina findinQs: <br /> PaQe 1 of 4 <br />
