She looked at the survey with me and we informed him the wetland map of the city showed <br /> there was wetland on the property and the survey from 2000 indicated it also. <br /> He then said he was only replacing a deck that was there and adding a small 3-season porch. I found the permit <br /> from 2000, but it was only hand drawn. I informed him City requirements have changed since then and we <br /> need an updated survey as the one we had showed `proposed home'. I went on to say, "make sure the survey <br /> includes grading" and he cut me off saying that wasn't necessary as he wasn't doing any excavating.
