DIVISION 9: FINISHES <br /> 1. Gypsum Drywall install according to manufacturers instructions in thickness as <br /> _ indicated on plan. Fill joints w/tape and joint compound and 2 additional coats, sand <br /> between coats and smooth and ready for painting. Ceilings sha11 have a knock-down <br /> finish. <br /> 2. Install metal corners as required and screw wallboard 8" OC @ edges and 12" OC at <br /> interior studs. Cut openings neatly and accurately as required. <br /> 3. Maintain proper heating and ventilation per manufactwers instructions. <br /> 4. Ceramic Tile: To be determined <br /> 5. Sealants shall match floor tile as insofar as possible. <br /> 6. Wood Floors: Maple w/style to be determined <br /> 7. Vinyl: To be determined <br /> 8. Carpet: To be determined <br /> 9. Paint shall be by: Sherwin Williams, Pratt and Lambert, Benjamin Moore or equal. <br /> 10. Paint shall be oil based premixed"egg shell", off white and applied w/roller to <br /> clean, dry, even surfaces in 2-coats (base and finish). Adjacent work shall be <br /> protected from paint. Temperature controlled as required. <br /> 1 l. Stain and Varnish shall be by: Same as paint above. <br /> 12. Wood to be stained and varnished that shall be sanded, cleaned and holes filled. <br /> Stains and Va.rnishes shall be applied per manufacturers instructions with light <br /> sanding between varnish coat for a smooth furniture-like finish. <br /> 13. Colors and finishes to be approved by owner. <br /> 14. All finishes included in this section shall be completely installed without defect or <br /> flaw in an manner acceptable to both the architect and owner. <br /> �� <br />
