. ,� , <br /> , <br /> A RESOLIITION FINDING <br /> A HAZARDODS BOILDING AND <br /> REQOIRING THE SECURING AND REPAIR <br /> OF STRIICTURES AT <br /> 1949 FAGffitNESS POINT ROAD, ORONO <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br /> organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Steven Davis is the fee owner of record of <br /> property located at 1949 Fagerness Point Road, Orono, Minnesota, <br /> herei:n referred to as "the property", and legally described as <br /> follows : <br /> Property Identification Number: 18-117-23 14 0016 <br /> Lots 23 and 24 including accretions described as follows : <br /> commencing at most northerly corner of Lot 24, thence south- <br /> westerly to most westerly corner thereof , thence <br /> southeasterly at a deflecting angle to the left of 60 <br /> degrees 36 minutes to the south line of under the the Linden <br /> Avenue said point being the actual point of beginning, <br /> thence continued southeasterly on said angle line a distance <br /> of 61. 05 feet thence northeasterly to a point in the <br /> extension southerly of east line of Lot 23 distance 57.05 <br /> feet south from south line of under the Linden Avenue thence <br /> northerly along east line of Lot 23 extended to south line <br /> of said avenue, thence westerly along said south line to <br /> beginning, Fagerness, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and <br /> WHBREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono, having <br /> duly considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes <br /> Sections 463.15 to 463.261, hereby finds that the above described <br /> property is uninhabitable and contains unsanitary and hazardous <br /> conditions which constitute a public nuisance and which makes <br /> this property hazardous to the public health, safety and welfare <br /> based on the following findings: <br /> 1. Basement wall backplastered over dirt for foundation <br /> wall, northwest corner. <br /> 2 . Basement wall caving in at cellar door. <br /> 3. Improper beam support over doorway in basement. <br /> 4. Electrical wiring to florescent lights - improper <br /> installation (use of light-gage speaker wire) . <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
