<br /> We liave reviewed the soil boring logs and constructian d�tails for tl�e proposecl concrete
<br /> modular block retainin� wall on R�bert Qwens' property. The proposal is to constzvct a
<br /> two tier wall with 3;2 {k�o�zontal to vertical) intermediate slopes and geogrid restraints.
<br /> The previously constructed embarikment was constructed at a lcl or 1.5:1 slape and has
<br /> subs�quently failed, We feel that tl�e groposed wali is feasible fram an engineering
<br /> standpoint.
<br /> Due to the marginal soils in the area {some ciayey silt), close cvustruction superv�sion is
<br /> recommended to insure adequate compactian of the embankments, The soil s1�vuld be
<br /> placed at near optiznum moisture canditions. Tl�is may require that moisture correction
<br /> techrtiques be nsed if the sails are overly wet ar, �very ual�sely, dry.
