After witnessing a deposit of dirt fill on the property w/o permits <br /> we issued a Stop Work notice to the property owner. The property owner then proceeded to spread out the dirt with a <br /> bobcat. We again notified the property owner,this time with a violation letter,that permits were required and silt <br /> fencing must be installed around the perimeter of the exposed soil. Well.... yesterday our inspector witnessed the <br /> property owner's contractor installing SNOW fencing.... (really, it's like a bad Far Side cartoon). <br /> No one has been home to speak to the 2 times our inspector stopped out.
