� O �' � � � �f �' <br /> O � <br /> ���;a::� C ITY of ORONO <br /> �, } ,y1,;'��„ ti <br /> Y�' "�° '�' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COIJNCIL <br /> ��`gkESH04�� rvo. 5 9� 1 <br /> A RESOLL'TION GRANTING VARIANCES <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 78-3�0 (B) <br /> FILE NO. 09-3437 <br /> WHEREAS, Kent Richey and Susan Richey, husband and wife (hereinafter "the <br /> applicants") are the owners of the property located at 3105 Casco Point Road within the City of <br /> Orono (hereinafter the "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Tract B, RLS no. 1311, Hennepin County, Mim7esota (hereinafter the "property"); <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zonin� Code Section 78-350(B) to allow redevelopment of a lot <br /> with 59 feet in width at tl�e OHWL and 6� feet in width at the 75-foot setback from the OHWL <br /> wl�ere 100 feet in widCh is nonnally required in order to coilstruct a new residence. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Mimlesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File 09-3437. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1C One Fainily Lakeshare Residential Zolling <br /> District which requires a minimum lot area of 21,780 square feet (0.5 acre) and a <br /> minimum lot width of 100 feet. <br /> 3. The City Council re�viewed this application at a public hearing held on December <br /> 14, ?009 and approved the lot width variance based on the following findings: <br /> a. The property contains 30,6?5 s.f. in area and has �9' in width at the OHWL <br /> and 65' in width at the 75' setback. <br /> b. The lot is substandard in width and a residence has existed on the property for <br /> many years. <br /> Pa«e 1 of 4 <br />
