CITY of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION Of THE CITY COUNCIL <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />SUBDIVISION OF A LOT LINE <br />REARRANGEMENT FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED AT <br />290 & 315 WOODHILL ROAD <br />FILE NO. 07-3300 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing <br />under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Orono (hereinafter "City Council') has adopted <br />subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic, and safe development of land within <br />the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application for a subdivision of <br />a lot line rearrangement by John C. O'Malley and Lois A. O'Malley, husband and wife; <br />and William W. McGuire and Nadine M. McGuire, husband and wife (hereinafter <br />collectively referred to as the "Applicants"); for properties legally described as: <br />Attached as Exhibit A (hereinafter "the Properties"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Properties consist of three separate parcels owned by the <br />Applicants as shown on the survey attached hereto as Exhibit B; and <br />WHEREAS, the Applicants have submitted an application for Class I subdivision <br />for a lot line rearrangement consisting of the following: <br />Separation of Parcel 3 from Parcel 2 and a combination of Parcel 3 with Parcel 1 as <br />shown in Exhibit C; and <br />WHEREAS, after due published and mailed notice in accordance with Minnesota <br />Statutes 462.358 et. seq. and the City of Orono's Zoning and Subdivision Codes, the <br />Orono Planning Commission held a public hearing on July 16, 2007, at which time ail <br />persons desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to <br />speak thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, the Applicants have completed or have agreed to complete all <br />requirements of the City for a subdivision of a lot line rearrangement for division and <br />combination purposes, resulting in the relocation of the common lot boundaries between <br />Page 1 of 5 <br />
