CITY of ORONO RESOLUTION Of THE CITY COUNCIL A RESOLUTION GRANTING SUBDIVISION OF A LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 290 & 315 WOODHILL ROAD FILE NO. 07-3300 WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the City Council of Orono (hereinafter "City Council') has adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic, and safe development of land within the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application for a subdivision of a lot line rearrangement by John C. O'Malley and Lois A. O'Malley, husband and wife; and William W. McGuire and Nadine M. McGuire, husband and wife (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Applicants"); for properties legally described as: Attached as Exhibit A (hereinafter "the Properties"); and WHEREAS, the Properties consist of three separate parcels owned by the Applicants as shown on the survey attached hereto as Exhibit B; and WHEREAS, the Applicants have submitted an application for Class I subdivision for a lot line rearrangement consisting of the following: Separation of Parcel 3 from Parcel 2 and a combination of Parcel 3 with Parcel 1 as shown in Exhibit C; and WHEREAS, after due published and mailed notice in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 462.358 et. seq. and the City of Orono's Zoning and Subdivision Codes, the Orono Planning Commission held a public hearing on July 16, 2007, at which time ail persons desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon; and WHEREAS, the Applicants have completed or have agreed to complete all requirements of the City for a subdivision of a lot line rearrangement for division and combination purposes, resulting in the relocation of the common lot boundaries between Page 1 of 5
