I relayed to you the information that our engineer needed to see on the plans— <br /> the storm sewer location. Tom Kellogg, our engineer, and I reviewed your updated sketch today and it is unclear what <br /> the grades are in the location of the storm sewer locations. It is also unclear based on your sketch what is existing and <br /> what is proposed, or what exactly is going to be done other than construct a new deck and fireplace. <br /> I spoke with Mr. Davies this afternoon and got the impression he wanted to expedite the issuance of the building <br /> permits. The fastest way to do so is to provide the City with a certificate of survey—which meets our requirements <br /> (attached) specifically(2)the existing and proposed grades, (3&4) any new structures or changes to existing structures. <br /> The (1) elevations of the storm sewers are also required. Any areas proposed to be graded or changed on the property <br /> must be identified. Further,as the property is located within 1000'feet of Lake Minnetonka it is considered Shoreland <br /> and hardcover restrictions apply. Therefore (5) hardcover calculations are also required. Your surveyor should calculate <br /> the existing and proposed hardcover. (6) My best guess is that the property is located within the 500-1000' zone.
