Follow cold weather procedures as set out in ANSI A41.1 when <br /> temperatures drop below 40 degrees F. <br /> 4) Protect persons, motor vehicles, surrounding surfaces of building and surrounding buildings from <br /> injury resulting from masonry work. <br /> 5) Prevent damaging dust, debris, mortar, chemical cleaning solutions from coming in contact with <br /> pedestrians, vehicles, landscaping, buildings, and other surfaces which could be injured by such <br /> contact. <br /> 6) Dispose of debris and run-off from cleaning operations by legal means and in manner which prevents <br /> soil erosion, undermining, of paving and foundations, damage to landscaping and water penetration <br /> into building interiors. <br /> 7) Protect sills, ledges, and projections from mortar droppings by the use of plastic covers, masking or <br /> other means, and remove at the completion of work. <br /> 8) Stone type shall: <br /> a) match sample to be provided for approval by Owner. <br /> 9) Provide allowance in your bid for the replacement of defective stone. <br /> 10) Accessories: <br /> Per manufacturer's specifications <br /> 11) Mortar: <br /> Per manufacturer's specifications <br /> Insulation and Caulkinq <br /> 1) Fiberglass insulation shall be friction-fit of R-values shown on Drawings. <br /> 2) Provide insulation vent spacers at eave edges to allow proper attic ventilation.
