' Project 64030-001 <br /> Wetland Delineation <br /> October 2003 <br />� __.__...._____- _ .___._._--____��_ �___.__.w._. _��.�_.w� ..�.��.�....._______:____.__ _.�_.__._.. <br />' Wetland Classification, Identification and Delineation <br /> for Jason Artemiuk <br /> 3753 Casco Avenue <br />' Orono, Minnesota <br /> ' Summary <br /> Based upon the boundaries indicated on the site map provided to Schoell and <br /> ' Madson, Inc., we have identified one wetland basin. The wetland was field <br /> identified on October 8, 2003. Only a trace of rainfall was recorded during the <br /> week preceding the delineation. <br /> ' Review of U.S. Fish and Wildlife National Wetland Inventory map and the DNR <br /> Protected Waters map indicates no wetland on this property. <br /> tProject Location and Site Description <br /> ' The site is located in a residential area between Carmen and Spring Park Bays of <br /> Lake Minnetonka in Orono, Minnesota. The site is located along the South side of <br /> Casco Avenue and is described as Lots 7 & 8, Block 4, of Casco Heights. <br /> ' The property is approximately 0.37 acres in size, consisting of a garage and <br /> concrete slab of a former single-family residence. There is a decreasing slope <br /> ' from north to south with a total change in elevation of approximately 18 vertical <br /> feet. The wetland basin lies just off of the southern property boundary. <br /> ' Characteristics of Wetland Basin <br /> ' Wetlands were delineated according to the 1987 Corps of Engineers Wetlands <br /> Delineation Manuel. <br /> ' Basin 1 Wetland 1 consists of a Type 2 inland fresh meadow as defined in <br /> Wetlands of the United States (USFWS Circular 39; Shaw and <br /> Fredine 1971). Basin 1 is classified as a PEMB (Palustrine <br /> ' Emergent Saturated) wetland based on the Wetlands and <br /> Deepwater Habitats of the United States (FWS Publication 79/31; <br /> Cowardin et al). <br /> , <br /> ' <br /> ' - 1 — <br /> Schoell & Madson, Inc. <br /> ' <br />
