Provide and install two inch (2") extruded polystyrene insulation, minimum R-10, below slabs <br /> containing in-floor hydronic heating systems <br /> c. Slope slightly to floor drains <br /> d. Finishes: <br /> — Steel trowel and light broom finish at slabs scheduled to receive ceramic, porcelain or stone tile <br /> — Steel trowel at remainder. <br /> 3. Garage Floor Slabs: <br /> a. Minimum four inches (4") aggregate base course; reinforcing; four inches (4") 3,500 psi concrete <br /> b. Under-Slab Aggregate Base: MnDOT 3138, Class 2 or 5 gradation; sand and gravel. <br /> 2. Below-Floor Insulation: Two inch (2") extruded polystyrene; R-10. <br /> 3. Vapor Barrier: Reinforced, polyethylene sheet; 20 feet wide (minimum seams); "TU-TUF 3" (Sto-Cote <br /> Products) or equal. <br /> 4. Reinforcing: <br /> a. Footings: Reinforcing bars, as shown on the Drawings: <br /> — Include dowels sized and spaced to match foundation wall reinforcing <br /> b. Alternate Bid: Foundation Walls: Reinforcing bars, sized and located as required <br /> c. Interior Floor Slabs: Fiberglass <br /> d. Garage Floor Slabs: No. 3 reinforcing bars, 18 inches o/c both ways. <br /> 5.
