A RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIl��TARY <br /> + �APPROVAL OF A CLASS III SUBDIVISION <br /> � FOR THE RUSSELL LUND ESTATE <br /> - FILE NO. 1818 <br /> WHEREAS, Tres Lund and Dario Anselmo authorized representatives of the <br /> Russell Lund Estate on March 26, 1993, filed a formal subdivision application with the City for <br /> approval of a two lot residential plat of properry legally described as: <br /> Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 1, Vasa Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the <br /> ProPertS,��)� and ; <br /> WI�REAS, after due published and mailed notice in accordance with Minnesota. <br /> Statutes 462.358 et. seq. and the City of Orono's Zoning and Flatting Codes, the Orono <br /> • Planning Commission held a public hearing on April 19, 1993, at which time all persons <br /> desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the opporiunity to speak thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, at their regular meeting held on May 10, 1993, the Orono City <br /> Council considered the subdivision application of the Russell T. Lund Estate, noting the �� <br /> following findings of fact: � <br /> 1. The properry is located within the LR-1B Single Family Lakeshore Residential <br /> Zoning District requiring a minunum of one acre of buildable land within each <br /> newly created lot. � <br /> 2. The property contains a total of 6.3 acres all of which is considered dry <br /> buildable. <br /> 3: The proposed plat contains two lots each exceeding the 1 acre minunum lot area <br /> requirements. Lot A proposed at 3.03 acres. Lot B proposed at 3.27 acres. <br /> 4. Lot A is 305' measured in a straight line at the shoreline and 290' at the 75' <br /> setback area where 140' lot width is required. <br /> 5.
