Cost. Informal quotes received to date indicate it will cost $25,000 to $30,000 to implement <br />and $7,000-$10,000 per year for licensing and system maintenance. <br /> <br />4. Funding. The implementation of this project will be funded through the Sanitary Sewer, <br />Water, and Storm Water Enterprise Funds and the annual licensing fees would be distributed <br />amongst the operating budgets for streets, water, sewer, storm water, and parks. <br /> <br />5. Timing. The proposed project timeline is as follows: <br />November 2014 Initiated research into asset management systems <br />December 2014- <br />June 2015 <br />Solicited presentations for leading providers: City Works, <br />Cartegraph, Pitney Bowles and Beehive <br />October 2015 Council direction/approval <br />November 2015 Solicit Asset Management Proposal <br />23 November 2015 Award Contract for asset management implementation <br />January 2016 Begin Implementation and training <br />June 2016 Initial system implementation and Training complete. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to authorize the Public Works Director for solicit proposals for an asset management <br />system. <br /> <br /> <br />
