Udell and Carolyn Udell (hereinafter "the applicants") <br /> are owners of the property located at 1210 Loma Linda Avenue within the City of Orono , <br /> (hereinafter "City") and legally described as follows: ' <br /> Lots 1 and 2 and the North 15' of Lot 3, Block 2 and Lot 2, Block 1, Saga Hills � <br /> I <br /> Revised, , Hennepin County, Minnesota, also that part of adjacent vacated Portland Place � <br /> (hereinafter "the property"); and ' <br /> • WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for a variance to Municipal <br /> Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 2 to permit construction of a 8'x40' addition on the <br /> south side of the existing residence where 4,792 s.f. or 35.1% hardcover in the 75-250' setback <br /> area exists and where applicants propose 4,861.3 s.f. or 35.6% where only 25% is allowed. <br /> The proposed improvement within the 75-250' setback will result in a 69.3 s.f. or .5% increase <br /> in hardcover. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1.
