MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING <br />HELD SEPTEMBER 27, 1993 <br />(#5) #1847 MICHAEL & DANA BARRETT, JAMES & MOLLY WHEELER, <br />2912/2918 CASCO POINT ROAD -SUBDIVISION OF A LOT LINE <br />REARRANGEMENT -RESOLUTION #3326 <br />It was moved by Goetten, seconded by Hurr, to approve Resolution #3326 for applicants <br />Michael and Dana Barrett and James and Molly Wheeler, 2912 and 2918 Casco Point Road, <br />approving the metes and bounds subdivision of a lot line rearrangement for Michael and Dana <br />Barrett and James and Molly Wheeler as shown on the Certificate of Survey by Advance <br />Surveying & Engineering Co. dated July 14, 1993. Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />(#6) #1856 MARK & JENNY PRUETER, 3215 CRYSTAL BAY ROAD -VARIAN CE - <br />RESOLUTION #3327 . <br />It was moved by Goetten, seconded by Hurr, to approve Resolution #3327 for applicants <br />Mark & Jenny Prueter, 3215 Crystal Bay Road, granting variances to Municipal Zoning Code <br />Section 10.22, Subdivisions 1 (B) and 2, Section 10.25, Subdivision 6 (A) and (B) to permit <br />the construction of a 15' x 26' rear addition and 34' x 26' second level, and construction of a <br />replacement deck/stairs at lakeside of residence measuring 17' x 12' that will require a 40% <br />west side setback variance, a 30% east side setback variance, a 70% west side setback <br />variance for lakeside replacement deck/stair structure, and 8' setback encroachment of the <br />average lakeshore setback line, a hardcover variance resulting in a net decrease of 3 s.f. or <br />. 01 %, • and a height variance that would allow a three-story structure rather than 2-1/2 story <br />structure. Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />(#7) #1858 JOHN & MARLA MEREDITH, 3685 WATERTOWN ROAD -VARIANCE <br />-RESOLUTION #3328 <br />It was inoved by Goetten, seconded by Hurr to · approve Resolution #3328 for applicants John <br />& Marla Meredith, 3685 Watertown Road, granting variances to Municipal Zoning Code <br />Section 10.03, Subdivision 9 (C-2) to permit the construction of a 60' x 80' indoor riding <br />arena that will exceed the allowed foot print area for a single oversized accessory structure <br />and will result in an excess of total area for accessory structures. Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />(#8) J~ ROBERT LUESSE, 3249 CASCO CIRCLE -VARIANCES -RESOLUTION <br />#3329 <br />It was moved by Goetten, seconded by Hurr to approve Resolution #3329 for applicant Robert <br />Luesse, 3249 Casco Circle, granting variances to Municipal Zoning Code Sections 10.03, <br />Subdivision 9 (C) (2) and Subdivision 14 (D) to permit construction of a 22' x 28' garage <br />addition to an existing detached accessory structure.
