._ � . <br /> .� . . . y <br /> l Cit� o� ORONO <br /> `' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> NO. 1516 <br /> • <br /> • ' • � DECLARING 'COST TO BE ASSESSED, ORDERING PREPARATION <br /> OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC <br /> HEARING ON THE PROPOSE'D ASSESSMENT FOR <br /> NAVARRE — STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 82-2 <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Resolutions #1409 , 1414 and 1425, a <br /> contract has been let and construction undertaken for the following <br /> improvements: <br /> 1 . Upgrading and wideningof BlaineAvenue between Crystal <br /> Place and Shoreline Drive, including extension of Lyric <br /> Avenue west from Blaine Avenue to the eastern line of the <br /> plat of Navarro, and the construction of curbs and turn <br /> lanes on Shoreline Drive between Lot 19, Block 7, Navarre <br /> H�ights on the east and Lot 10, Block 3, Navarro on the west , ' <br /> which improvements benefit properties identified in PartC <br /> of Resolution �1396. <br /> . 2. Construction of streets , curbs and gutters within and <br /> benefitting the Schlee Bui.lder ' s Inc . subdivision <br /> identified in Part B of Resolution No . 1396, now platted as <br /> Lots 1 throuqh 10 inclusive, Block 1 ; Lots 1 through 4 <br /> inclusive, Block 2; and Lots 1 through 10 inclusive, Block <br /> 3, Navarro, Hennepin County, Minnesota . <br /> . <br /> � WHEREAS , the contract price of such improvements and the <br /> expenses incurred or to be incurred in the makinq of such improvements <br /> amount to the total cost of the improvement of $ 136 , 941, 83 ; and of <br /> this cost the City will pay $ 15,265.40 as its share; and � <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br /> City of Orono , Minnesota : <br /> l . The cost of such 82-2 Improvements to be specially <br /> assessed is hereby declared to be $ _ 121, 676 .43 � <br /> 2. The City Administrator , with the assistanceof the City <br /> Engineer shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be <br /> _ specially assessed for such improvements aqainst every <br /> assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district <br /> affected , without regard to cash valuation, as provided by <br /> . law and 'he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in <br /> his office for public inspection. <br /> � <br />
