REGULAR MEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL, JUNE 13, 1977 Page 30 <br />Council Meeting - June 13, 1977 VARIANCES <br />2967 Cusco Point Road <br />Mayor Van Nest moved, Butler seconded, to approve (Continued) <br />the variance requests of Hamilton Moran, 2967 Casco <br />Point Road, per the Planning Commission recommendations <br />of June 6, 1977. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br />Henry Muhich, Building & Zoning Administrator, read VISION <br />into the record the following action of the City 140 Brown Road South <br />Council regarding the preliminary subdivision for #243 <br />James Kallestad, 140 Brown Road South, dated James Kallestad <br />April 25, 1977: <br />Approved preliminary plat and variance subject to <br />10' road easement along north property line and <br />park dedication fee and final mylars and hardshells. <br />Planning Commission Meeting - June 8, 1977 <br />Reviewed final plat drawings whict included the <br />requested access easement along the north property <br />line. Recommended approval subject to payment <br />of the park dedication fee, and title opinion <br />sent to the City. <br />Council Meeting - June 13, 1977 <br />Pesek moved, Butler seconded, to adopt Resolution RESOLUTION #794 <br />#794, A Resolution Approving Kallestad Acres, Kallestad Acres <br />per Planning Commission recommendations of June 8, 140 Brown Road South <br />1977. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br />Henry Muhich, Building & Zoning Administrator, read VARIANCE <br />into the record the following request of John 920 Forest Arms Lane <br />Gullickson, 920 Forest Arms Lane, for a variance, #250 <br />dated April 2, 1977 John Gullickson <br />Request for lot area variance to build a new home. <br />Area requirement - 43,560 sq. ft. This lot is only <br />19,500 sq. ft. in area. A variance of slightly over <br />24,000 sq. ft. is necessary. <br />There is somewhat a problem here. We have three <br />vacant lots right in a row. This lot is the middle <br />one so we have one substandard lot on either side <br />of this one. Each of the three lots is slightly <br />less than 1/2 the required area. To combine the <br />three lots as one buildable site would result in <br />two lots of about 14 acres. We might consider <br />having the three lots rearranged into.t.wo huildinq <br />sites if we can. <br />(Continued) <br />
