July 27, 1995 <br />Orono Planning Commission <br />SUMMARY <br />We believe the proposed three lot subdivision blends with and <br />enhances the environment of Dickey Lake, meets the spirit of <br />Orono's expansion and development goals, harmonizes with and <br />extends the quality of the Sugar Woods neighborhood to the <br />natural boundary formed by Dickey Lake to the north. <br />We appreciate your consideration and granting of any <br />variances you believe would be necessary in order to minimize <br />disruption of existing wooded areas and permit the homes to <br />be located as far back from Dickey Lake as is reasonable. <br />Page 3
