MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />Monday,JunelS,2015 <br />6:30 o'clock p.m. <br />9. #15-3746 JAMES HILLIER AND JULI ANDERSON, 1224 BRIAR STREET, <br />VARIANCES, 9:33 P.M. -9:36 P.M. <br />James Hillier, Applicant, was present. <br />Council <br />Exhibit E <br />Curtis stated the applicant is proposing to construct a new residence on the property and is requesting rear <br />and side setback variances to allow the structure to be situated 31.5. feet from the rear lot line where a 50- <br />foot setback is required. The survey reflects the legal building env~fope on the property and is <br />approximately 15' x 40' without any setback variances. <br />Curtis noted the prope11y is substandard in lot area and lot width.
