Request for Council Action continued <br />page 2 of2 <br />October 5, 1995 <br />Zoning File #2071, James and Joann Jundt <br />Planning Commission Recommendation <br />Planning Commission reviewed this application at their September 18 meeting and voted 6-0 to <br />recommend approval of the proposed excavation, waterproofing and re-establishment of existing <br />grade, subject to a requirement that the disturbed areas be re-sodded as soon as practical after grade <br />restoration. <br />Planning Commission also reviewed the applicants' proposal to replace the 36" elm with two 4½" <br />diameter maples, and recommended approval of that proposed mitigation. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Staff recommends approval per the Planning Commission recommendation. A resolution is attached <br />for Council adoption. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />PROPOSED MOTION: Moved by __ , seconded by_~ to adopt Resolution No. __ , to <br />amend the approval granted in Resolution No. 3539 for James and Joann Jundt at 1400 Bracketts <br />Point Road to allow excavation in the 0-75' zone to waterproof an existing tunnel.
