TO: Walter R. Benson
FROM: Jeanne A. Mabusth
DATE: June 9, 1982
SUBJECT: #687 Michael Lynn III, 1265 Bracketts Point Rd.
Renewal Variance
Zoning District - LR-IA
Application - front street setback - setback variance `r>r
accessory structure
a) Setback from tavelled road (NE corner of tennis court)
required 50'
proposed 34'
variance 16' or 32
b) Setback from dedicated road (NE corner of tennis court)
required 50'
proposed 48'
variance 2' or 4%
Action - Telephone poll three members of the Council hell
on 7-n, 1s. -pp ed the renewal variance for Mike
Lynn. Lynn's real concern was with the delays
involved in waiting for the cent- scheduled meeting of the
Planning Commission on June 21, 1981, and final action by
Council on the 28th of June.
Members of Council contacted by staff agreed to approve the
renewal variance with the condition that Council establish
an abbreviated review procedure for all residents with renewal
variance applications that present no chances from the oriuinal
application.
The following is a sk.i(a(aestion for such procedural change:
