A building permill was issued on June 3, 1982. <br />Lynn received approval from Council for a street setback variance <br />to permit construction of a tennis court on June 30, 1980 with <br />an expiration data of June 30, 1981. The hardships were reviewed <br />as follows: <br />1 - Narrowness of lot - 175' width and 75' lakeshore setbac! <br />and 50' street setback. <br />2 - Location of travelled road as opposed to platted road. <br />The applicant accepted the fact that a new application had to <br />be filed with the ^ity in keeping with the requirements of <br />the Ordinance. Lynn's real concern was with the delays <br />involved in waiting for the cent- scheduled meeting of the <br />Planning Commission on June 21, 1981, and final action by <br />Council on the 28th of June. <br />Members of Council contacted by staff agreed to approve the <br />renewal variance with the condition that Council establish <br />an abbreviated review procedure for all residents with renewal <br />variance applications that present no chances from the oriuinal <br />application. <br />The following is a sk.i(a(aestion for such procedural change: <br />
