WHEREAS, after due published and mailed notice in accordance with Minnesota <br /> Statutes 462358 et. seq. and the City of Orono's Zoning and Subdivision Codes, the Orono <br /> Planning Commission held a public hearing on February 17, 1998 (continued to March 16, <br /> 1998, and concluded on May 18,' 1998) at which times all persons desiring to be heard <br /> concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, at their regular meeting held on May 26, 1998 the Orono City <br /> Council considered the subdivision application of the subdivider and voted 3-1 to grant <br /> conceptual approval and direct staff to draft a preliminary plat approval resolution noting the <br /> following findings of fact: <br /> 1. The properry is located within the LR 1C-1 Single Family Lakeshore Residential <br /> Zoning District requiring a minimum of� one-half acre of contig�ous dry <br /> � � buildable land within each newly created lot. . : �� <br /> 2. The property contains a total of approximately 1.503 acres of land. There are no <br /> wetlands located on the property. <br /> 3.
