<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 7668 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city of Orono is authorized by Minn. Stat. 465.03 to accept donations of real <br />and personal property for the benefit of its citizens and is specifically authorized to accept gifts; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kari Snaza has offered to donate $750.00 to city of Orono for the purchase of a park <br />bench to be installed at Susan Lurton Dog Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the donation is for the benefit of its residents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is appropriate to accept the donation. <br /> <br />RESOLVED that the Orono City Council gratefully accepts the donation to be used by the city of <br />Orono. <br /> <br />FURTHER, staff will acknowledge receipt of the donation expressing appreciation. <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held March 9, 2026. <br /> <br />ATTEST: CITY OF ORONO <br /> <br /> <br />___________________________________ __________________________________ <br />Christine Lusian, City Clerk Bob Tunheim, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />30
