TO: Glenn Cook, City Engineer
FROM: Michael P. Gaffron, Assistant Zoning Administrator
DATE: January 22, 1985
SUBJECT: #881 Krutzig Custom Homes - Hardcover Variance Request
Glenn, I am enclosing the information on Krutzig's hardcover
application that were included in your January 14, 1985, Council
packet. Also included is a late -arriving calculation of drainage
through a deck by Mark Gronberg. I have additionally included the
site drainage plan submitted by Krutzig.
Please review the information submitted and formally address the
following items for the January 28, 1985, Council meeting:
1. Comment on site drainage/grading plan submitted.
2. Comment on the issue of decks as hardcover or not based
on the arguments presented.
3. Comment on the use of the runoff coefficients for
various surfaces as related to our hardcover
ordinances.
4. Comment on the "Seamco" paving product presented.
I am anticipating that ttie Council will need to document their decision
if they choose to start considering certain deck designs as non -
hardcover. It would be helpful if you can have something in writing
for Mondi 's meeting. Please call if you have any questions.
