Page 9 <br />LAKE MINNETONKA HOMES <br />(CONT) Kelley minority opinion -Kelley noted that there is a <br />need to address the appropriateness of the curb cuts in <br />the northeast corner of this plat and also the total <br />development. He felt there request was in excess of <br />what the City should grant. <br />#695 GUENTHER ROTH <br />1428 BALDUR PARK ROAD <br />VARIANCE' Guenther Roth's plant manager, George Stodola, was <br />present. Mabusth noted that Mr. Roth cannot accept <br />the garage going on Lot 8 and Mr. Roth prefers the <br />garage to go on Lots 17 and 18. <br />George Stodola noted Mr. Roth'_ concerns with the <br />Planning Commission's previous otion. He noted <br />that '1r. Roth doesn't want to be so limited that he <br />cannot update his property. He stated that Mr. Roth <br />is requesting that the garage be pti, on Lot 17 and 18. <br />Goetten moved to deny Mr. Rt h's request to put the <br />garage on Lot 17 and 18 but tc. ivprove the two stall, <br />single story garage on Lot P subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. Detached garage to be pla-E(, on Lot 8. <br />2. Owner must obtain a demol i t: on permit for remc.val <br />of existing garage on Lots 17 and 18. <br />3. All roof drainage to be directed away from lake <br />towards Baldur Park Road. <br />4. Building Official will determine if soil borings <br />are necessary for a floating slab. <br />5. Owner is placed on notice that the City will not <br />approve future improvements to this property if <br />they require variances. <br />s,. Mabusth noted that in her <br />memo she addressed all the questions that Planning <br />Commission had requested at their last meeting. <br />Planning Commission found no further problems. <br />Goet ten moved to approve a conditional use permit for <br />W, 11 iam Ulrich for the installation of a seawall along <br />the lagoon area of his property and 20' of Gerard <br />Blohorn's property subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />
