Rhode suffered a heart attack at the beginning <br />of the year. however, Mr. Rhode still plans on submitting a revised proposal as soon as <br />he is able. Rhode has submitted a revised proposal and site plan includi-ng the adjoining properties <br />with house locations. tie is still requesting the use of the existing structure. I'm <br />enclosing copies of this revised proposal and plan. <br />I checked the site again and feel the proposed location of the house may be a little too <br />far forward than necessary. I also believe that moving the house location back to the <br />30' setback line would result in an encroachment on the Lauer's to the west. <br />It might be best to compromise and locste the front of the house midway between the <br />proposed location and the average setback line as shown on my Sketch "Exhibit A". <br />We might also consider sticking to the conditions set forth by the Council on October <br />22, 1974, (copy of minutes enclosed) when a variance or. this lot was first approved. <br />At that time, removal of the old garage was one of the conditions of approval. We <br />could require this again. <br />Because of the revised proposal, I have moved this item back as a work session item. <br />PU.N,,-NC 014flSSION MEETING -May 2, 1977 <br />Mr. Rhode and neighbors Mr. Becker and Mr. F, Mrs. Lauer were present. Commission <br />indicated objection to retain existing carriage house. Similar variance approved <br />in 1974 was conditioned on removal of carriage house - also indicated objection to <br />multiple dock on property. Sungested one main dock for use of surrounding propertv <br />owners having lake access easement across subject property (grandfather - leRal non- <br />.onforming. <br />
