CITY OF ORCANO, MINNF.SOTA <br />RECIII.AR PLA`NiNG m1MISSIw ?.fEETINC HELD MMARCH 21, 1977 <br />to�e Orono Planning Commission met on the above date with the <br />following members present: Chairman Gregg Hannah, Members <br />Gloria McDonald, John Guthrie and Paul Pesek. Members <br />Diane Dunlap and Dick Hassel arrived at 7:35 p.m. Also <br />present was the Zoning Administrator flank'uuhich. <br />Guthrie moved, Pesek seconded, that the minutes of the <br />Planning Commission meeting of March 7, 1977, be an <br />as corrected: <br />"Page 7 - Stubbs Bay Marina (A234) that the motion be <br />changed from 5 Ayes, 0 Nays to Ayes (4), Nays (0). <br />Motion - Ayes (4), Nays (0). <br />The Zoning Administrator advised that Mr. Rhode had been <br />in his office that clay. fie will submit a revised proposal <br />in approximately one month. <br />Pesek moved, AIct)onald seconded, that this matter be tabled <br />until the necessary data is submitted. 'Motion - Ayes (4), <br />Nays (0) . <br />L., 4ahich stated that no application has been submitted. <br />However, he will continue to keep this item on the agenda. <br />The Planning Commission reviewed the revised proposal. <br />The members -^re concerned about the extent of Ila (!I:w,)el) <br />soil on Lots 6, 7 and S. They suggested a com!)ination of <br />Lots 6 and 7 as one parcel to provide adequate area for <br />a septic system►. Mr. Levering stated that he would be <br />willing to combine these two lots with the understanding <br />that he could split this lot at a future date. The <br />Planning Commission was also concerned whether or not <br />Lot 8 could support an on -site septic system. After <br />some discussion, the Commission determined the area of <br />qualifying soils was adequate, but the location was <br />questionable.
