' ) <br />f RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />RECOGNITION OF GLORIA MCDONALD'S VOLUNTEER SERVICE. <br />ON THE CITY OF ORONO'S PLANNING COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, Gloria McDonald served on the City's Planning <br />Commission from January 1975 to December 31, 1986, and <br />WHEREAS, the quality of the community is very dependent <br />on the City's excellence in its land use management, and <br />WHEREAS, the City's Planning Commission is an integral <br />part of the community's excellent land use management, and <br />WHEREAS, Gloria McDonald in her servic_ to the community <br />on the Planning Commission did excellent work and exhibited her <br />dedication in knowledge and application of codes to various <br />appli^-tions, and <br />WHEREAS, the C cy of Orono likes to take the opportunity <br />to recognize individuals for such loyal and dedicated service. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Orono <br />give this resolution of appreciation to Gloria McDonald in honor <br />of her many years of sc rvice to tFe Planning Commission for the <br />City of Orono, and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this token of gratitud is <br />given to Gloria McDonald by the Council on behalf of all the <br />citizen-; of the community. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, <br />Minnesota at a regular meeting held April 13, 1987. <br />ATTEST: <br />�, AT <br />at y M., to �n <br />
