City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />RECOGNITION OF GEORGE ROVEGNO'S VOLUNTEER SERVICE <br />ON THE CITY OF ORONO'S PLANNING COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, George Rovegno served on the City's Planning <br />Commission from July 28, 1980 to December 31, 1986, and <br />WHEREAS, George Rovegno served as Planning Commission <br />Vice Chairman from January 1982 to June 30, 1982, and <br />WHEREAS, the quality of the community is very dependent <br />on the City's excellence in its land use management, and <br />WHEREAS, the City's Planning Commission is an integral <br />part of the community's excellent land use management, and <br />WHEREAS, George Rovegno in his service to the community <br />on the Planning Commission did excellent work and exhibited his <br />dedication in his knowledge and application of codes to various <br />applications, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono likes to take the opportunity <br />to recognize individuals for such loyal and dedicated service. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Orono <br />give this resolution of appreciation to George Rovegno in honor <br />of his many years of service to the Planning Commission for the <br />City of Orono, and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this tcken of gratitude is <br />given to George Rovegno by the Council on behalf or all the <br />citizens of the community. <br />adopted by the City Council of the City of.
