Sid Nabors' Letter Dated 1/23/87 - Water/Sewer <br />Lake St. Croix Beach Article Dated 1/14/87 <br />INTRODUCTION - Attachment A is the staff's draft of the <br />C om pre hensiva Plan amendment to be submitted with the appropriate <br />Comprehensive Plan amendment application to the Metropolitan <br />Council for its review to receive their approval for <br />Incorporation of this amendment in Orono's Comprehen-i ve <br />Management Plan. In addition to copies being sent to Metro <br />Council they will be sent to all the adjoining communities for <br />comment. <br />DISCUSSION - The February 3. 1987 meeting will be a presentation <br />of this document by staff and consultant followed by publin <br />comment and also Planning Commission's comments and discussion. <br />During this discussion on the portion relating to Sid Rebers' <br />property it has been indicated that he will be allowed to make a <br />presentation regarding the proposal for a one acre density of his <br />resldential property and/or annexation of his property .a the <br />0 ty of Long Lake. It has be-n indicated that the City would <br />oppose such an annexation, but feel it appropriate for him to <br />make his presentation initially to the Planning Commission <br />regarding this matter. <br />:t is anticipated following comments and susgaatlona that the <br />document will be re -drafted and prepared at Planning Commission <br />direction for preliminary consideration by Council.
