Bernhardson, City Administrator <br />From: Tom Kuehn, Finance Director �vtfC <br />Date: March 19, 1987 <br />Subject: 1986 Police Department Operations -Financial <br />Attached are schedules comparing the 1986 actual expenditures to <br />the budgets for the police department operations in the "base" <br />contract, and the additional manpower contracts for Long Lake and <br />Spring Park. Also.attached is a copy of the 1986 cost distribution by <br />city and the resulting amount due to or from each city. <br />The 1986 costs are $42,743 under budget. The amount under budget <br />is made up of three parts; the base contract is under budget $8,505; <br />the Long Lake additional manpower is under budget $15,403; and the <br />Spring Park additional manpower is under budget $i9,835. <br />The net effect of the 1986 final contract costs is that Long Lake <br />will be credited $19,691 in 1987, Minnetonka Beach will be credited <br />$988 in 1987, and Spring Park will he credited $23,340 in 1987. <br />
