`V': <br />VACATING A RESOLOS 'ON <br />A DRAINAGI. AND 'UTILITY EASEMENT <br />ALONG THE SHARED LOT LINE OF LOTS 16 <br />BLOCK 1, TH7 PAPA AT LONG LAKE <br />PILE NO. .1114 <br />City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION Of THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />6 17, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, on January 30, 1987, William M. Bracken filed a <br />petition with the City of Orono requesting vacation of a drainage and <br />utility easement orginally dedicated in the plat of The Farm at Long <br />Lake legally described as a drainage and utility ea, -ent along the <br />shared lot line of Lots 16 and 17, Block 1, The Par,., at Long Lake, <br />Hennepin County, Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, after due published and posted notice, a public <br />hearing was held before the Planning Commission on March 16, 1987 at <br />7:30 p.m. in order to review the import of the proposed vacation and <br />all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard; and <br />WHEREAS, after due standing and consideration, the Planning <br />Commission voted to recommend approval of the petition for vacation as <br />proposed based on the following findings: <br />1. The existing drainage and utility easement does not serve any <br />drainage purpose nor do utilities occupy the easement area. <br />2. The unused drainage and utility easement as it exists serves <br />no public purpose. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the petition of William <br />M. Bracken is hereby granted by the Council of the City of Orono and <br />that the drainage and utility easement legally described above is <br />hereby vacated. <br />ADOPTED BY: <br />James R.
