Process: <br />The work session dates and times are set by the city's official meeting calendar, which the staff <br />presents and the council approves in the November timeframe for the following year. Historically, <br />the city has scheduled two hours per month for work sessions. Sometimes that has been one, two- <br />hour session per month with more recent schedules having two, one -hour sessions per month. <br />These regularly scheduled meetings have then been augmented by special meetings to cover <br />specific topics that do not fit within the regular schedule, or require additional time to adequately <br />cover a given topic. <br />4. Staff Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends that the next work session proceed as scheduled. If the Council would like to <br />adjust the schedule, please provide that guidance and staff will make the necessary changes. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Consider a motion to approve the work session schedule. <br />180 <br />
