Currently there is an existing accessory building <br />(pump house-shed) located on the property without a primary structure . A variance was granted in <br />1988 to allow the accessory building to remain on the property. The applicants have submitted <br />building plans for a new residence and the accessory building will remain. <br />1. Section 10.24, Subdivision 5 (B): Lot Width: The lot is 102 feet wide where 140 feet is the <br />minimum lot width for the LR-1B zoning district for new construction. <br />2 . Section 10 .03, Subdivision 9: (Accessory Buildings): No accessory buildings or structure shall <br />be constructed on any lot prior to the time of construction of the principal building to which it is <br />accessory. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />The Planning Commission recommended by a 6 to O vote to: <br />Approve the application as presented. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />To approve the enclosed resolution. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />To adopt or amend the enclosed resolution.
