The Metropolitan Council further <br /> indicated that because the amendment appears unlikely to affect policies and plans in other chapters <br /> of the Metropolitan Development Guide, further review of the amendment is waived. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br /> Orono hereby amends the Comprehensive Sewer Policy Plan element of the Orono Community <br /> Nlanagement Plan by incorporating into the plan the document entitled "Comprehensive Plan <br /> Amendment #7, Maxwell Bay Area MUSA Boundary" dated June 1998, and adds part XX��I - <br /> MaY�vell Bay Northeast to the Metropolitan Urban Service Area per the legal descriptions and maps <br /> attached hereto as Exhibit A, finding that: <br /> 1. The amendment meets the intent of the basic goals, objectives and policies set forth <br /> in the 1980 Comprehensive Management Plan. <br /> 2. � The amendment is consistent with the goals, objectives, needs and desires of Orono <br /> • residents. ' <br /> 3.
