I have resided in Orono since 1977 and have two <br />children. Ned and Sarah, that have attended the Orono schools since that time. <br />I currently reside at 355 North Stubbs Bay Road in Long Lake. I spent the first <br />ten -ears of my life in St. Paul and then moved to Deephaven before going away <br />to attend college, the Navy, and graduate school, so I am a long time resident <br />of the Twin Cities. <br />My resume is enclosed for your reference. By way of updating it, ;, <br />November, 1984, I was one of the founding members of the First Bank Sy am <br />Merchant Banking Group where I am currently a Managing Director. We are the <br />investment banking subsidiary of First Bank System and our primary respon- <br />sibilities include private placements of debt securities, a merger/acquisition <br />advisory service, appraisals and fairness opinions, and acting as the financial <br />advisor primarily for customers of the Bank. I am also on the Board of <br />Directors of the Ridgedale YMCA. <br />I have a strong interest in preserving the quality of life in Orono and a <br />record of being active in community service.
