<br />Th e Planning Commission will hold public hearings in the
<br />Orono Council Chambers at 2780 Kelley Parkway on
<br />Tuesday, January 19, 2010, beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the
<br />matter of reviewing the following land use app lications:
<br />06-3234 Beisel & Dunlevy, PA on behalf of Bridgewa -
<br />ter Bank. 4725 & 4731 North Shore Drive , LR-18 zoning
<br />district, requests renewal of approvals granted in 2006 for
<br />lot line rearrangements and lot area, lot width. and hard-
<br />cover variances in order to create two lots where three lots
<br />previously ex isted.
<br />08-3350 J. Sven Gustafson on behalf of Frederick Pe-
<br />ters , 3127 Casco Circle , LR-1 C zoning district, requests
<br />a revision to the previously approved side setback vari-
<br />ance for the tenni s co urt to have a 22-foot setback on the
<br />south side and a 30-foot setback on the north side instead
<br />of a 30-foot setback on the south side and a 22-foot set-

<br />to the previously approved struc tural coverage variance to
<br />allow 18.01 percent structural coverage when 17.85 per-
<br />cent was approved and 18.64 percent previously existed.
<br />The purpose of this change would be to allow a 36-
<br />square-f oot entry porch rather than a 16-square-foot entry
<br />porch. Hardcover variances are also requested to clarify
<br />the amount of hardcover allowed in the 0-75, 75 to 250
<br />and 250 to 500 foot zones.

<br />Park Road , RR-1A zoning district, request a va riance to
<br />allow two Oversized Accessory Structures (OAS) on their
<br />property where one OAS is normally allowed and one
<br />OAS currently exists. An OAS is an accessory building
<br />1 ,000 square feet or above. The applicants currently have
<br />one, 1 ,200-square-foot OAS on the property and would
<br />like to construct a new 3.000-square-foot building.

<br />10-3444 City of Orono proposes an amendment Chap-
<br />ter 78 of the Orono Code (also known as the Zoning Code)
<br />to define a site plan review process for the Business (8)
<br />and Industrial (I) zoning districts to rep lace the code pro-
<br />vision that requires City Council approval of all bui lding
<br />permits in these zoning districts.
<br />All persons wishing to be heard are encouraged to attend
