Section 10.55, Subd. 4 (B) -Flood fringe district. The <br />flood fringe district shall include those areas designated <br />as floodway fringe in the Flood Isurance Study including <br />without limitation the shoreline of Lake Minnetonka between <br />elevations 929.4 and 931.5, the area between the floodway <br />and the edge of the 100-year flood elevation. Review <br />Exhibit S. Note that new construction will be located <br />entirely within flood fringe area. Septic tanks and <br />drainfield areas are located above the flood plain elevation <br />at 931.5 <br />2. Section 10.55, Subd. 7 {B) -The regulatory flood protection <br />elevation for Lake Minnetonka shall be 932.5 MSL. <br />3. Section 10.55, Subd. 8 -Development restricted. No <br />filling, grading, temporary or permanent structures will be <br />allowed within the flood plain. <br />4. Section 10.55, Subd. 10 -Permitted and conditional use <br />permits. Only structures allowed within flood fringe area <br />are listed under conditional uses. They are accessory <br />structures such as open decks and patio or other accessory <br />uses not specifically listed when approved by the Council <br />but no use shall be approved which will restrict or obstruct <br />any flood flow or which wi 11 raise the leve 1 of any flood <br />flow. Seasonal structure use is not addressed. <br />5. Section 10.55, Subd. 14 (B) -Conditions attached to <br />condi tiona 1 use permits. Flood proofing measures in <br />accordance with State Building Code and Federal Flood <br />Regulations -Applicant shall submit the plan or document <br />certified by a registered professional engineer or architect <br />that the flood proofing measures are consistent with the <br />regulatory flood protection elevation and associated flood <br />factors for the particular area. This section suggests more <br />intense structure than decks and patios. <br />6. RS Standards -Section 10.31, Subd. 8 -Required setbacks. <br />Refer to Exhibit F. <br />Street= 30' <br />Interior lot lines= 30 1 with lot widths at 100-199' <br />Interior lot lines= 10' with lot widths at 1-99'
