All safety standards have been met as follows: <br />a) Structural soundness of antenna specifications and <br />installation certified by licensed engineer. <br />b) 6 foot high shield to be installed at grade around antenna <br />base to prevent climbing of antenna tower. <br />c) Nearest house is 75 +/- feet from antenna tower. <br />d) $100,000 liability insurance to cover any property damages <br />created by structural failure. <br />Such approval is subject to the following conditions: <br />A) Permit is issued for the sole amateur use of David Anderson while <br />he resides on the property - such structure to be dismantled and <br />substructural/footings to be filled upon his leave. <br />B) Applicant mist keep updated record with City of liability <br />insurance coverage for antenna tower. <br />C) Structural soundness of antenna structure and installation method <br />to be approved by City Engineer. <br />D) Receipt of letter from most affected neighbor acknowledging that <br />he has been made aware of the total height of the antenna structure <br />located 75 +/- feet from his residence structure. <br />E) Conditional use permit to be renewed in 5 years to assure <br />structural stability of tower structure is maintained. <br />Additional Comments and Planning Commission Recommendation: <br />December 3, 1986 <br />Additional Exhibits <br />Exhibit N - Engineer's Report <br />Exhibit O - Insurance Carrier's Letter <br />Exhibit P - Resolution of Approval <br />Exhibit Q - Neighbor's Acknowledgement Form <br />At the Planning Commission meeting, Mr. Anderson submitted a written <br />statement (Exhibit O) from his insurance carrier that the homeowners policy <br />for the residence would extend to the proposed radio tower. Anderson <br />advised that the liability limits on the policy would be limited to <br />$100,000.00 coverage. <br />Staff submits for your review the City Engineer's report (Exhibit N) <br />approving the structural design and placement of the structure on the <br />property. <br />
